I see vaild reasons for both use cases. Personally I like to check my messages before sending but I can understand that some like fast action 
Regarding stickers I sometimes wish for the possibility to add a text line as with pictures. Sending confirmation could make this possible.
Maybe a option in settings (sending confirmation on/off) would serve everyone.
